Smithfield TV Package 12/24

A TV package covering the closure of London’s Smithfield market. My colleague and I made it down to Smithfield at 4am for this package. Surrounded by the hubbub of traders, we managed to find a couple who were willing to speak with us, despite the sensitivity of the topic at the time. I enjoyed incorporating online sources into this package and feel that the script came together nicely. If I were to make changes, I would replace most of the shots with stills and include sequences of myself or the vendors to enhance the storytelling aspect.
